Case Study: Just Solutions
Here is one of over 50 painting and decorating jobs we have undertaken for Just Solutions Coventry, providing student accommodation for those studying at Coventry University. By re-purposing old buildings including pubs, terrace houses and even Coventry County Hall, this project renovates tired, unloved structures into modern, purposeful student dwellings.
Our approach
Each project begins with a full rip out of the building followed by partitioning the space into individual rooms. Then come the electrics, fresh woodwork and finally fresh plaster. This means that aside from the usual filling and sanding of wood, our preparations are kept to a minimum. Nevertheless we will still go over everything with a fine toothed comb, it’s in our nature!
As a company we are loyal to Johnstone’s paints, the finish and coverage we can achieve using this brand of paint is second to none. First we use Johnstone’s Primer Undercoat to prime all surfaces for painting. For the walls we then use Johnstone’s Durable Matt, Johnstone’s Cover Plus Vinyl Matt for the ceilings and Johnstones oil based eggshell for woods.
